Short Biography
I am primarily interested in longitudinal quantitative methods from survey design and questionnaire development through to data collection and analysis. I have managed the Growing Up in Scotland study, a large-scale longitudinal birth and child cohort study, since its launch in 2005 and co-ordinate NatCen's longitudinal methods group. I have particular interest and expertise in the design and execution of CAPI surveys, and in research with children and young people.
