Short Biography
PhD Project Title: Participation in 'Out-of-School' activities and children's academic performances, a socio-cultural prespective.
This doctoral research explores socio-economic differences in children's participation in 'Out-of-School' activities. It also investigates whether, and to what extent, differences in children's participation in out-of-school activities may impact their academic performances at school.
For the purpose of this study, data from the Millennium Cohort Study were analysed. The Millennium Cohort Study is a national longitudinal survey of British children and their families.
The results of this study are expected to inform policy makers as well as practitioners who have an interest in this field of study.
