Robert Raeside has a background of applying statistics to business problems and to issues in society. His interests are in population change, forecasting and social network analysis. This is reflected in his publications and in the diverse range of doctorial students he has supervised and continues to supervise.
He heads the statistics cluster at Edinburgh Napier University and is the Royal Statistical Society's representative to the British Standards Institutes Committees on Managament Statistics and Six Sigma.
