Short Biography

Helen is the Senior Statistician at the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh.

Previously she was the Senior Statistician for AQMeN, providing methodological expertise in taking forward the aims of the Network. She has also held posts in academia (Senior Research Fellow in Medical Statistics, University of Edinburgh), the health services (Principal Statistician, ISD; Senior Statistician, NHS Quality Improvement Scotland) and in the commercial sector (ICI Pharmaceuticals).

She has a research interest in mixed (multilevel) models and has published two editions of a textbook in this area.
