UK Data Archive Archive housing several thousand datasets of interest to a wide range of researchers and provides resource discovery and support for secondary use of quantitative and qualitative data in research, learning and teaching.
Economic & Social Data Service (ESDS) Website devoted to assisting access to an extensive range of key economic and social data, and provding support for their usage. See links to: ESDS research methods and data analysis guides, ESDS links of particular interest to those using data for teaching.
Council of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) Umbrella organisation for social science data archives across Europe.
University of Edinburgh Data Library A collection of web-based data sources, arranged and annotated according to subject.
Administrative Data Liason Service A service acting as an intermediary between academic researchers and data holding organisations to provide information, aid with communication and promote the use of administrative data.
Scottish Census Access to data from the Scottish Census.
Growing up in Scotland An exciting new study that follows the lives of a national sample of Scotland's children from infancy through to their teens. This is one of the largest longitudinal studies ever done in Scotland and will provide information that will help develop policies affecting children and their families in Scotland. Scottish Health Survey Survey to provide a detailed picture of the health of the Scottish population in private households and is designed to make a major contribution to the monitoring of health in Scotland.
