Cities will just be playgrounds for rich if poor keep being pushed to suburbs

In this blog post, published in The Conversation, Professor Nick Bailey and Dr Jonathan Minton discuss the increasing suburbanisation of poverty across Scotland’s four cities. Using data from the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation, they identify that low income households are gradually being pushed out of more central areas of our cities as higher income households move in.
