Background:
The Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth will deliver a lecture on the Scottish economy at the University of Edinburgh on 25th February. In the lecture, hosted by the Scottish Institute for Research in Economics, Mr. John Swinney will discuss recent developments in the Scottish economy, set out his outlook for economic recovery and discuss the challenges and opportunities that will face Scotland in the years ahead.

There will be an opportunity for an informal discussion at a reception immediately following the lecture.
