25th Anniversary of the IWSM (IWSM2010)
The 25th International Workshop on Statistical Modelling will be hosted by the Department of Statistics at The University of Glasgow from 5th-9th July 2010.
A short course on 4 July 2010 on Functional Data Analysis given by Giles Hooker (Cornell University) will precede the workshop.
Invited speakers are Murray Aitkin (University of Melbourne), Ian Dryden (University of South Carolina and University of Nottingham), Patrick Heagerty (University of Washington), Havard Rue (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and E. Marian Scott (University of Glasgow).
Papers are encouraged from all areas of statistical modelling and there will be prizes available for the Best Student Paper, the Best Student Presentation and the Best Student Poster.
The deadline for abstract submission is 5th February 2010. Registration will be open by the end of January 2010.
