Funding Workshop for Career Young Statisticians
This funding workshop is intended for those who are at the start of their statistical career and are interested in applying for a statistical fellowship or their first grant. There will be an opportunity to listen to the leading funding bodies talking about their funding schemes, a chance to speak to the funders over lunch, and an interactive workshop where you will get to act as a reviewer for a fellowship application! The day will be rounding off with a networking wine reception.
Funding bodies taking part in include – Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, Economic and Social Research Council, Medical Research Council, Natural Environment Research Council, National Institute for Health Research Trainees Coordinating Centre and the Wellcome Trust.
