Hi I wonder of anyone can give me some help? I am a PhD student and have a few questions re analysis using SPSS. My data sample is from two groups across 4 time points, with 10 variables at each time point. (i am comparing the effect of a health promotion intervention with a control). I am using a repeated measure analysis – and wonder about
1 missing data – i have 50% missing data after the baseline data – what should i do about this – how fill it in? I am wondering about using EM
2 Additionally i have data about whether the participants actually did engage with the intervention or not, which shows some did and some didn’t. so i want to do an analysis taking this into account, so should it be taking a subset ie top 50% of engagement, or a covariance?
3 Taking my data as is without adding in missing data I have numbers of 17 or 18 for an anova – very low, therefore wondering about bootstrapping, or is this something that wont be necessary if I fill in my missing data
I'm in Edinburgh so could meet up or just some pointers
thanks very much
Sheila

My suggestion is that you take a look at http://www.missingdata.org.uk/
