Understanding the 2015 General Election result in Scotland - Methods Note

A follow-up survey of people who had taken part in the Scottish Social Attitudes Survey in 2013 and 2014 was carried out to learn more about constitutional attitudes and party loyalties from the pre-referendum to post 2015 General Election period. The survey was carried out by ScotCen Social Research on behalf of AQMeN. The follow-up used a mixed mode online and telephone fieldwork, providing a representative sample which meets the standards of similar surveys.

This document explains the methods used when carrying out this research.
