Application process
All applications should be made using the application form and must include:
- A 'Case for Support' of up to 1500 words (excluding references) which includes details of:
- the aims of the project and its relevance and contribution to AQMeN;
- the main outputs of the research (including details of any written or digital materials);
- a timetable for completion of the project with key stages identified;
- an explanation of how much grant money is requested and how this will be used;
- any matched or in-kind funding that has been requested from (or pledged by) other sources.
- An ‘Impact Summary’ of up to 500 words which details how the outputs and/or outcomes of the project are expected to have an impact on the Scottish social science community, particularly in terms of building capacity in quantitative methods.
- Short CVs of the named applicants (up to two pages per person) which includes information relevant to the application.
- Two named referees (preferably one academic and one non-academic).
All applications will be peer reviewed by a panel of four reviewers from AQMeN.
