AQMeN - Applied Quantitative Methods Network

Collaborative Small Grants Scheme

The third call for applications is now closed.

AQMeN have established a Collaborative Small Grants Scheme to encourage and support members of the social science community in Scotland to work together on small-scale research, training, knowledge exchange or dissemination projects that involve the use of advanced quantitative methods in any area of social science.

The principal applicant for the scheme must be a member of staff within a Scottish Higher Education Institution, although the scheme is open to staff at any stage of their career who wish to develop a small initiative in conjunction with new collaborative partners. Applications that include collaboration between academic and non-academic organisations are especially welcome, and all applications must take into account how the project might be developed to appeal to a non-academic audience.

A total of three awards of up to £3000 each are available for this call.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for matched funding or funding in-kind from another source, including commercial organisations and government departments.
